Who is Lê Tấn Đào?
Someone who started in a phone repair shop, and now spends most of his time helping business owners build sales systems on the Internet.
From a micro-soldering phone shop to a sales-system trainer
I started out repairing phones, then went into the hardest part of the trade: micro-soldering. Repairing at the chip level, under a microscope, dealing with details the naked eye cannot see. Phones that other shops sent back ended up in my hands. With that skill I opened my own shop, then grew it into a tech store, and learned to sell the way street-front shops always sell: whoever walks in, you serve; whoever does not, you simply miss.
Then I started making videos. At first it was only so that existing customers would not have to ask the same question again and again. The channel Tấn Đào Mobile grew steadily, passed 112,000 subscribers and earned a YouTube Silver Play Button. That was the first time I understood something very simple that I had no name for back then: a piece of content made once can keep selling for you forever.
From there I founded BALAMY Agency, making content and channels for other people. The more I did it, the more I saw the same familiar scene: business owners who are great at their craft, with good products and old customers who praise them sincerely, yet still anxious because they do not know where this month’s customers will come from. They are not bad at what they do. They simply lack a system, and they are trying to carry everything with manpower.
Six years in BNI
For the past six years I have been active in BNI, a business community built on the principle of giving in order to receive. I served as President of BNI Rainbow Chapter (Term 11), now Ambassador of BNI Hanoi Region 06 with nearly 3,000 business-owner members in Vietnam and abroad.
This is where I have learned the most about why people buy. Every week I listen to dozens of business owners talk about their trade, meet them 1-2-1 to understand what kind of customers they need, and then look for ways to introduce the right people to each other. No lecture teaches that as fast as sitting in a room with real people.
What I hear there, I write up as a portrait of each person in my column Real Business Stories (in Vietnamese), and I record the knowledge in the document collection Tăng Tốc Vươn Xa (in Vietnamese).
Who I help, and with what
I work with owners of small and medium businesses, salespeople and freelancers who want a steady flow of customers from the Internet without depending on running ads all the time.
- Building an automated customer system: attract, nurture, convert, and then get referred onward.
- Making content and videos that bring in customers without burning out, and without wondering every single day what to post.
- Using AI as a small marketing department for people who are busy and not comfortable with technology.
- Turning real-life relationships (BNI, associations, old customers) into a flow of customers online.
Why I trust systems more than tricks
Tricks expire. A clickbait headline, a posting time slot, an algorithm that happens to favour you: after a few months they stop working. A system is different. It tells you where customers come in, where they stop, who is waiting to be looked after, and what has to be done today. With a system you do not need to be better, you only need to be more consistent.
AI makes this much cheaper. Work that used to need a marketing department can now be handled by one busy person, as long as the framework is built right from the start.
How I work
- I only write about and teach what I have done with my own hands, or what I have walked students through until they got results.
- Concrete steps, real numbers. No promises of getting rich quickly.
- If something is not certain, I say plainly that it is not certain, rather than saying what sounds good.
- What you can do yourself, I let you do yourself, and I do not sell you things you do not need yet.
What trades my students work in
Dentistry, beauty, interior design, packaging printing, restaurants, jewellery, electric vehicles, legal advice, training and many more. The principles are the same; how you apply them differs from trade to trade. You can read how each of them works in the column Real Business Stories (in Vietnamese), or see the community activities I take part in and organise.
